Since 7 years that I am coming to Donetsk, always the same comfort. This time finally tv in the room is changed to flat screen. One of the nices breakfast room in Ukraine.

Narrow bath tub and soft curtain. For the hotel of this standard this could be better.

Donbass Palace - the one and only hotel in Donetsk the international level...

Really very good hotel...

My stay was as pleasant and as memorable as my last visit in Oct-Nov of 2011. The staff and facilities are second to none in regards to other hotels I have visited before in Hong Kong,Dubai, or the USA. The entire staff [front desk,housekeeping,bellman and restaurant] are all "Top Shelf". Housekeeping attends to the room throughout the day and the food at "The Grill" featured grain fed beef from the State of Nebraska. It was outstanding. All my reservation requests were obliged and the genuine hospitality of the staff was apparent. There's not a better place to stay in Donetsk [or The Ukraine for that matter] than the Donbass Palace.

I wish the hotel had a shuttle or dedicated vehicle for picking up or dropping off guests at the airport. Having said that, the concierge was very helpful in reserving a private taxi for me when checking out. For me, it's not a deal breaker. I guess I'm have grown accustomed to that service at other hotels. Final suggestion, I hope one day the Donbass partners up with other entities in order to award points during stays. IE, Lufthansa, Emirates, United,Turkish Airlines, etc. I believe that will open up future opportunities for this fabulous property. Reciprocation with these companies would be a very strong marketing and networking tool.
